Bimo has no analytics, ads or trackers, no third-party libraries and no server of its own. The developer can’t see your pets or your records.
Everything you enter is stored on your iPhone and syncs through your private iCloud database, which only your Apple ID can access.
If you share a pet, only the people you invite can see its records. A shared pet is stored in the iCloud of the person who shared it. You can stop sharing at any time.
Subscriptions are purchased and billed by the App Store. We never receive your payment details: the app only asks the App Store whether your subscription is active.
The app only connects to Apple’s servers: iCloud and the App Store. Reminders are created on the device itself.
Camera and photos are used to capture your pet, documents and vaccine stickers. Notifications are used for reminders. Location is used only when you tap “On the map” next to a clinic address, to find it on the map; coordinates are not stored. You can revoke any permission in iPhone Settings.
You can erase all your records in the app’s settings. With a subscription you can save them as a backup file, and you can always restore from such a file.
